Funeral for Christy Joyce Barber, 59, of Hartselle was Monday, December 14, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Jimmy Reeves and Roger White officiating.
Burial was in New Center Cemetery.
Mrs. Barber died Saturday, December 12, 2009, at her residence. She was born March 13, 1950, in Morgan County. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lee Barber.
She is survived by three sons, Ricky Barber of Punkin Center, Greg Barber of Neel and Scottie Barber of Guntersville; a daughter, April Springer of Decatur; her mother, Colleen Reeves of Hartselle; three brothers, David Nelson, Johnny Nelson and Billy James Nelson; a sister, Lavern Garrison of Danville; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Bobby Hanner, Jamie Barber, Jerry Simbeck, Ben Greeson, Mike Hand and Mark Leather.
