Funeral for Ray Lindley, 68, of Hartselle was Wednesday, December 16, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Newby officiating.
Burial was in Herring Cemetery.
Mr. Lindley died Tuesday, December 15, 2009, at his residence. He was born March 24, 1941, in Morgan County to John R. Lindley and Mary Ruby Uptain Lindley. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys Maebell Reed Lindley of Hartselle; two sons, Billy Joe Lindley and wife Frankie Joe of Danville and Rathel Amos Lindley and wife Heather Suggs of Hartselle; two daughters, Tina Louise Patterson and husband Charles of Falkville and Barbara Lindley of Hartselle; four brothers, Clifford Lindley of Trinity, Jimmy Lindley and Ricky Lindley, both of Falkville and Curtis Lindley of Hartselle; three sisters, Peggy Jones of Danville and Debra Lindley and Kay Cobbs, both of Hartselle; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Kenny Foster, Harley Reed, Phillip Melson, Amos Barnett, Roger Law and Carl Hill.
