Funeral for Winford R. Turney, 49, of Falkville will be Thursday (today), December 17, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Ralph Henderson and Darrell Kimbrel officiating.
Burial will be in the Turney Family Cemetery in Falkville.
Mr. Turney died Sunday, December 13, 2009, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born June 1, 1960, in Morgan County. He had recently become a Christian.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Wood Turney of Falkville; his parents, Howard and Martha Turney of Cullman; a brother, Gary W. Turney and wife Jan of Falkville; two sisters, Cathy Mills and husband James and Brenda Turney, all of Cullman; and his mother-in-law, Martha “Marti” Downton of Falkville.
Pallbearers will be Mike Wood, Craig Wood, Ray Partain, Blaine McGuire, Jason Freeman and Johnny Melson.
