County Commission OKs aerial photography project

Morgan County Commission authorized the chairman to enter into an agreement with Spatial Net Inc. for an upgrade of digital aerial photography at a cost of $27,720.
The move was made at a regular meeting Dec. 8.
The cost of the GIS data update is being shared with several other local government entities. They include E-911, cities of Decatur and Hartselle, Morgan County EMA, Hartselle Utilities and the Morgan County Revenue Department.
Commissioners also:

  • Authorized the chairman to re-advertise for bids for personal computers for the various county department.
    No bids were received the first time the item was put out for bids.
