Funeral for Juanita Maddox Roberts, 86, of Hartselle was Friday, Dec. 18, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Harold Thompson officiating.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Roberts died Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2009, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born June 10, 1923, in Morgan County to Warren Candler Maddox and Earlene Hazelip Maddox. She was a lifelong member of Neel United Methodist Church. She was retired from North Alabama Regional Hospital, past president of Morgan County Chapter of Medical Assistants Association and a member of American Business Women’s Association. She was preceded in death by her husband, G. Wilburn Roberts; her parents; and a brother, M. Guhl Maddox.
She is survived by a son, Donald L. Roberts of Neel; a daughter, Lynda Roberts Gray and husband Donald of Neel; and one grandchild.
Pallbearers were Marvin Herror, Lewie Sanford, Mack Maddox, Charles Sandlin, Gerald Ellenburg and Jeff Robertson.
