Back in the finals

FLORETTE - Brewer reached the championship of the Big Blue Classic with a 39-36 win over Albertville in the semifinals Monday.
Taylor Bowling led the Patriots with 13 points, while Jordan Bowling added 11 points.
Brewer led by 10 points heading into the fourth quarter, but the Patriots had to hold off a late challenge to reach the championship game for the first time in two years.
Arab 51, Hartselle 38
Sam Fleischman scored 17 points for Hartselle, but the Tigers were unable to overcome a slow start in the first round.
Isaiah Fowler added eight points, while Tres Austin finished with seven.
Hartselle scored just two points in the first quarter after going the first seven minutes without a basket.
The Tigers managed to close to within four points at 36-32 with five minutes left, but Arab used an 8-1 run to put the game out of reach.
Fairview 71, Danville 35
Dillon Childers scored 18 points for Danville in a loss in the opening round of the tournament.
Erick Cordova, Dylan Woods and Jacob Fields all added four points for the Hawks.
Nathan Ring scored 29 points for the Aggies.
Brewer 77, Good Hope 60
Brewer opened the tournament with a 17-point win over Good Hope Saturday.
Jordan Bowling led all scorers with 33 points, while Taylor Bowling added 14 points.
Brandon Murray finished with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
Good Hope’s Taylor Hollis finished with 18 points.
Brewer hit seven 3-pointers in the win, with Jordan Bowling connecting on five treys.
Hartselle 67, Fairview 52
Terry Wiggins scored 22 points as Hartselle opened the tournament with a win over Fairview.
He had six 3-pointers in the win.
Sam Fleischman added 17 points for the Tigers.
Fairview’s Trent Hardman had 20 points to lead the Aggies, while Nathan Ring added 15 points.
DOC Classic
Hartselle 46, Clay-Chalkville 27
Hartselle blasted Class 6A Clay-Chalkville behind a 16-point effort from Taylor White.
Katie White added 11 points for the Lady Tigers.
Hartselle was scheduled to play Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa Tuesday in a game played after press time.
Austin 66, Priceville 47
Priceville dropped its first game in the tournament despite getting 17 points from Melissa Johnson.
Austin got a quick lead in the first quarter to get the win.
Sheyene Turner scored 16 points for Austin.
Priceville was scheduled to play Cullman in the loser’s bracket.
