Funeral for Millie Pike Crowe, 77, of Hartselle was Saturday, January 2, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Smith officiating.
Burial was in Moss Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Crowe died Wednesday, December 30, 2009, at her residence. She was born June 27, 1932, in Morgan County to Lee Pike and Delores Johnson Pike. She graduated from Morgan County High School in 1951. She attended Hartselle First Church of God for more than 60 years where she taught Sunday School. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Ira Pike and Billy B. Pike; and two sisters, Irene Pike Milam and Imogene Pike Varnell.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, James Cecil Crowe of Hartselle; two sons, Jerry Wayne Crowe and James Lamar Crowe and wife Shelia, all of Hartselle; two brothers, Evon Pike and wife Marsha of Hartselle and Montie Pike and wife Agnes of Las Vegas, Nev.; two sisters, Alice Dobbs and husband Glenn of Hartselle and Geraldine Cloer and husband Hoyt of Eva; two grandsons, James William Crowe and Chad Hunter Young; a granddaughter, Rachael Crowe Thompson; three great-grandchildren, John “Jace” William Crowe, Brysen Reed Thompson and Macelyn “Macie” Grace Thompson; and several nieces and nephews.
