Funeral for O.D. Lindley, 67, of Falkville was Sunday, January 3, at 1:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Ray Bennett officiating.
Burial was in Winton Cemetery in Center Springs.
Mr. Lindley died Thursday, December 31, 2009, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born September 9, 1942, in Morgan County to Henry Lindley and Gladys Sanford Lindley. He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Lindley and his parents.
He is survived by a son, Michael Lindley of Tenn.; two daughters, Tammy Lindley of Castlewood, Va. and Dede Lindley of Virginia; a stepson, Robert Champion of Falkville; three stepdaughters, Elaine Whitt of Athens, Geneva Mendez and Cathy Champion, both of Falkville; three brothers, Billy Lindley, Joe Lindley and Junior Lindley, all of Falkville; a sister, Louise Fricks of Falkville; and 23 grandchildren.
