Larimer, Foote exchange vows
Elizabeth Susan Larimer of Danville and John D. Robert Foote of Hartselle were wed Dec. 11, 2009, at Cedar Creek Free Will Baptist Church.
The bride is the daughter of John Anthony Atchley and Susan Owens Atchley of Danville.
The groom is the son of John Timothy Foote and Deana Anne Foote of Hartselle.
Rev. Larry McElroy officiated the Christmas-themed wedding, featuring colors of maroon and gold and poinsettias. The maid of honor’s grandmother, Shirley Powell, made all the bouquets and bows.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore an ivory dress and veil and carried a mixture of maroon colored flowers with gold tinsel and maroon feathers.
The maid of honor was Britny Cobb of Hartselle. Bridesmaids were Tessa Atchley of Danville, Selina Harrelson of Pulaski, Tenn. and Sylvia Aguirre of Cullman. The maid of honor wore a maroon dress, as did one bridesmaid. The other two attendants wore gold dresses. They carried smaller bouquets that matched the bride.
Flower girl was Alyssa Jade Legg of Pulaski, Tenn. Ring bearer was Jonathan Michael Mims Jr. of Danville.
Best man was Dustin Popdan of Hartselle. Groomsmen were Bradley Atchley of Danville and Brad Steele of Hartselle.
Anne Ansell McElroy managed the music in the chapel.
A reception was held at the church following the ceremony.
The bride’s table featured a white cake with a square bottom and round top with maroon scrolls.
A gold ribbon trimmed the bottom of each layer and the cake was topped by a gold bow.
The table also featured poinsettias, white Christmas reindeer and a picture of the couple.
The groom’s table featured a chocolate cake with camouflaged decorations.
The table was decorated with two brown Christmas deer, floral d/cor and a photo of the couple.
After a wedding trip to the The Westin of Huntsville, the couple will reside in Hartselle.
