Priceville girls hammer Aggies

Presley Darling and Molly Thompson both had double-doubles Monday night as Priceville beat Fairview 86-60 in a Class 4A, Area 13 game.
Darling finished with 23 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Lady Bulldogs to the win over Fairview.
Thompson had 18 points and 13 rebounds.
Priceville’s Amber Smith added 16 points to help the Lady Bulldogs’ offensive production.
Priceville has averaged 80.5 points in its last two games - victories over Falkville and Fairview.
The Lady Bulldogs were scheduled to host Columbia Tuesday night.
Danville 89, Carbon Hill 15
Danville wrapped up the Class 3A, Area 11 championship Monday by demolishing Carbon Hill on the road.
Kayloni Cross paced Danville with 15 points, while Sarah Terry added 14 points for the Lady Hawks. Hannah McClung and Rochelle St. Amand chipped in 12 points each, while Ashley Nance had 10 in the win.
Danville improved to 16-4 overall with the win.
The Lady Hawks hosted Lawrence County Tuesday night.
Boys’ games
Fairview 48, Priceville 47
Priceville dropped to 13-8 overall with a one-point loss at Fairview in a Class 4A, Area 13 game.
Priceville trailed by nine points at the half, but battled back before falling short at the end.
Priceville outscored the Aggies 16-8 in the third quarter.
Tyler Croft led the Bulldogs with 17 points. Brock Boyd finished with 12 points.
Trett Hardman and Nathan Ring had 12 points each to lead the Aggies in the win.
The Bulldogs hosted Columbia Tuesday night.
Carbon Hill 64, Danville 53
Carbon Hill used a strong first quarter to set the tone for its 64-53 victory over Danville Monday in a Class 3A, Area 11 game.
Carbon Hill scored 18 points in the first quarter and held a 32-24 lead at the half.
The Bulldogs’ Kolton Nichols had 19 points, while Jamel Henderson had 15.
Danville was scheduled to host Lawrence County Tuesday night.
