Jewel Crow Champion

A graveside service for Jewel Crow Champion, 85, of Hartselle was Monday, Jan. 18, at 2 p.m. at Burningtree Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Terry Nappier officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Champion died Friday, Jan. 15, 2010, at UAB. She was born Dec. 26, 1924, in Morgan County to Arthur Crow and Florence Hicks Crow. She was a nurse and a member of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, E.H. Champion; her parents; and a son, Howard E. Champion.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Peggy Champion of Hartselle; a grandchild, Susan White and husband Stephen of Trussville; and two great-grandchildren, Shelby and Sawyer White.
Pallbearers were family and friends.
