A memorial mass for Barbara Jean Johnson Konesky, 73, of Hartselle was Tuesday, January 26, at 2 p.m. at the Annunciation of the Lord Catholic Church with Father Bruce Bumbarger officiating.
Mrs. Konesky died Thursday, January 21, 2010, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born September 7, 1936, in Lawrence County to Bob R. Johnson and Vivian Spivey Johnson. She was a farmer and homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents and a great-grandson, Sawyer Jackson.
She is survived by her husband, John A. Konesky of Hartselle; two sons, Greg Konesky and wife Alley of Montgomery and Brad Konesky and wife Patricia of Hartselle; four granddaughters, Carley, Danielle, Annalyssa and Mary Katherine; two sisters, Ann Johnson of Decatur and Imogene Gray of Moulton; and a brother, Danny Johnson of Hillsboro.
