Reuben Stephen ‘Steve’ Sandlin

A graveside service for Reuben Stephen “Steve” Sandlin, 61, of Falkville was Friday, January 22, at 1:30 p.m. at Roundtop Cemetery with Dr. Bill Lancaster officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Sandlin died Wednesday, January 20, 2010, at his residence. He was born August 10, 1948, in Morgan County to Reuben A. Sandlin and Mary Lou Kelsoe Sandlin. He was a PFC in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by a son, Chris Sandlin of Hartselle; a daughter, Angie Sandlin of Hartselle; a stepdaughter, Tamatha Wood of Florida; a brother, Stanley Sandlin of Danville; a sister, Sharon Lawrence of Hartselle; and a grandchild.
Pallbearers were Wayne Lawrence, Steve Holladay, Jamie Woods, Shine Woods, Howard Sandlin and Buddy Shell.
