Elizabeth ‘Lizzie’ Anderson

Funeral for Elizabeth “Lizzie” Anderson, 87, of Lacey’s Spring was Sunday, January 31, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Daniel Stapler officiating.
Burial was in Lipscomb’s Cemetery.
Mrs. Anderson died Friday, January 29, 2010, at Whitesburg Gardens Health Care Center. She was born September 26, 1922, in Madison County to Archie Jasper Boyett and Mary Ellen Hones Boyett. She was a member of Valhermoso Springs Free Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Anderson; a son, Andrew Gordon; and two daughters, Carolyn Bulman and Billie Ann Anderson.
She is survived by two sons, T.J. Anderson and wife Sue of Raleigh, N.C. and Randy Anderson and wife Jan of Lacey’s Spring; four daughters, Mary Jane Stapler and husband Marshall of New Hope, Eugonda Anderson and Bernice Johnson and husband Jimmy, all of Lacey’s Spring and Pauline Vinzant and husband Jim of Arab; 18 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Scott Anderson, Jeremy Bulman, Matt Anderson, Josh Anderson, Cole Mahan and Billy Griffin.
