Hartselle sweeps Cullman on road

CULLMAN - Hartselle wrapped up the regular season with a three-point road win over Cullman Monday night.
Sam Fleischman led all scorers with 23 points, while Terry Wiggins finished with 14 points.
The Tigers’ Chance Partlow pulled down a team-high 10 rebounds.
Hartselle will open post-season play Friday at Muscle Shoals against the top-seeded Trojans.
Grissom 51, Brewer 43
Brandon Murray scored a team-high 16 points in Brewer’s 51-43 loss to Grissom.
Brewer led by 10 points at the half before Grissom rallied for the victory.
Matthew Crowe, Brett Lavender and Taylor Bowling all finished with six points each for the Patriots.
Clay Houck led Grissom with 16 points.
Girls’ games
Hartselle 42, Cullman 34
Katie Young scored 19 points to lead Hartselle to a win over Cullman on the road.
Hartselle trailed by one at the end of the first half, but took the lead with a 26-17 run over the final two quarters.
Young scored 12 of her 19 points in the third quarter.
Brewer 61, Grissom 47
Elizabeth Bromirski, Chelsey Smith and Courtney Oldacre scored 17 points each as Brewer blasted Grissom Monday night.
Natalie Farmer led Grissom with 14 points.
W. Morgan 69, Priceville 48
Priceville had no answer for Hayden Hamby Monday night in a loss to West Morgan.
Hamby scored 34 points to lead the Lady Rebels to a 69-48 win over Priceville.
Presley Darling led Priceville with 15 points. Molly Thompson added nine points, while Amber Smith and Melissa Johnson finished with eight points each for the Lady Bulldogs.
