Funeral for Nettie Lee Thompson, 90, of Hartselle will be Thursday (today), February 4, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Penn officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Mrs. Thompson died Tuesday, February 2, 2010, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born August 18, 1919 in Morgan County to Charles Howard Halbrooks and Carrie McClellan Couey Halbrooks. She was a homemaker, a lifelong member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Thompson.
She is survived by a son, John T. Thompson and wife Judy of Hartselle; a daughter, Carrie King and husband Bobby of Hartselle; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be James Hardin, John Hardin, Todd Thompson, Larry Ealy, Chad Halbrooks and Frank Thompson.
