A graveside service for Rebecca Bean Lawrence, 76, of Franklin, Tenn. was Saturday, Feb. 6, at 2 p.m. at Hartselle City Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Sparkman officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Lawrence died Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010, at Saint Thomas Hospital. She was born August 23, 1933, in Morgan County to Benjamin Franklin Bean and Mary Wyona Slone Bean. She graduated from Morgan County High School in 1951. She enjoyed working in her yard and was a lifelong learner and loved traveling. She was a member of the Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Houston Lelton Lawrence of Franklin, Tenn.; a son, James H. Lawrence of Decatur; a daughter, Ann Hochmann and husband Andy of Rockford, Ill.; and a grandson, Eric Hochmann of Rockford, Ill.
