Funeral for Thurman E. Terry, 73, of Decatur was Wednesday, Feb. 10, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steve Bateman officiating.
Burial was in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Mr. Terry died Monday, Feb. 8, 2010, at Parkway Medical Center. He was born July 25, 1936, in Morgan County to William Oscar Terry and Ida Morris Terry. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Josephine Terry of Decatur; a son, Robert W. Terry of Decatur; two daughters, Carol Davis of Decatur and Rhonda Jackson of Madison; a brother, David M. Terry of Athens; a sister, Martha Singleton of Decatur; and seven grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Austen Terry, Nik Davis, Mark Johnson, Matthew Legg, Stewart Terry and Michael Terry.
