Funeral for Charlie Michael Conley, 59, of Hartselle was Sat., Feb. 20, at 1 p.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Melvin Hunter officiating.
Burial was in Forrest Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Conley died Sun., Feb. 14, 2010, at his residence in a house fire with his wife. He was born Dec. 13, 1950, in Morgan County to Bernard Lee Conley and Mary Ethel Handley Conley. He served in the United States Air Force for four years as an airplane mechanic in the Vietnam War. Mr. Conley worked for Volunteers of America for three years. He loved spending time with his dogs and enjoyed working outside in the yard and doing things for his wife.
He is survived by two sons, Bryan and Corey Conley, both of Hartselle; a brother, Miles Conley; two sisters, Billie Fox and husband Gary of Springville and Carolyn Turner of Arab; a great-aunt, Mildred Melvin; a nephew, Toby Fox of Springville; and a niece, Tammy Jenkins of Punkin Center.
Pallbearers were John Foot, Gary Chastein, Jesse Childers, Chucky Cole, Toby Fox and Cody Brown.
