Genealogists plan trip to Mobile

The Genealogy program at Wallace State Community College in Hanceville is offering three courses during the spring semester and a three-day trip to Mobile in April.
Introduction to Genealogy is offered on Thursday evenings from 5-7 p.m. Advanced Genealogy and Book Publishing is available on Tuesday mornings from 9-11 a.m. and South Genealogy is offered on Thursday mornings from 9-11 a.m. To register, contact Robert Davis at 352-8265.
The three-day trip to Mobile is scheduled for April 16-18. The travel fee is $75 per person.
The trip will include stops at the Alabama Archives in Montgomery, the Cahawba State Historic Site, the Genealogy Department of the Public Library in Mobile and optional tours of the U.S.S. Alabama and other area museums. The deadline to register and pay is March 20.
