Funeral for Tony W. Leopard, 62, of Hartselle was Sunday, February 21, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dewitt Crowe officiating.
Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery in Athens.
Mr. Leopard died Friday, February 19, 2010, at his residence. He was born January 21, 1948, in Limestone County to Nell Chandler Leopard and Gladys Delois Hobbs Leopard. He was employed by United Stage Equipment as a purchasing agent. He attended Southwest Baptist Church. As a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran he received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with three Bronze Stars, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Aircraft Crewman Badge, Air Medal and Sharpshooter Rifle Badge. He owned Leopards Antique Shop which he enjoyed.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Wilda Leopard; his mother, Gladys Hodges of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and a sister, Gloria Leopard of St. Petersburg, Fla.
Pallbearers were Grover Welborn, Paul Adkins, Buzz Howell, Johnny Jones, Hunter Nance and John Cordar.
