Funeral for Beulah Wooten Davis, 79, of Hartselle was Tuesday, March 9, at 11 a.m. at Sims Funeral Home Chapel in Douglas, Georgia. with the Rev. Rodney Courson officiating.
Burial followed in Pridgen Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Davis died Friday, March 5, 2010, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born February 28, 1931, in Georgia to George Washington Wooten and Mamie Jones Wooten. She was a retired cosmetologist and owner of The House of Beauty in Decatur. She was a member of Hartselle First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Clifford Davis; her daughter, Sherry Davis of Hartselle; two grandchildren, Christopher Davis Haynes and Lauren Ashley Tapscott; and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jimbo Hutto, Quitman Wooten, Jerry Wooten, Carlon Wooten, Mavin Wooten, Darrel Wooten and Richard Wooten.
Honorary pallbearer was Jimmy Wooten.
