A graveside service for Larry DeWayne Payne, 39, of Decatur was Thursday, March 4, at 1 p.m. at Hough Cemetery in Lacey’s Spring with Bro. Tim Patrick officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Payne died Saturday, February 27, 2010, in Huntsville. He was born September 3, 1970, in Blount County. He was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Sue Meigs and stepfather, Denzil Thurman Meigs.
He is survived by a son, James A. “Josh” Patton of Eva; his father, Larry Benford Payne of Corinth, Miss.; and two sisters, Pamela Freeman and husband Terry of Somerville and Brenda Browder and husband Duke of Decatur.
