Meth labs found in Lacey’s Spring

Two methamphetamine labs were found in Lacey’s Spring last week, leading to one arrest.
Jayson Alton Mathews of 151 Lasater Road in Lacey’s Spring is charged with unlawful manufacture of a controlled substance after agents with the Morgan County Sheriff’s Narcotics and Violent Crimes Task Force served two arrest warrants at his home.
Deputies found two one-pot methamphetamine labs at his home. The labs consisted of ammonium nitrate, liquid fire, several coffee filters with white powder residue, tubing used with a gas generator, ether, several glass jars containing white powder residue and an amount of finished methamphetamine. Matthews was transported to Morgan County Jail. Bond was set at $5,000 dollars.
