Steven Tyrus Turney

A memorial service for Steven Tyrus Turney, 35, of Trinity was Sunday, March 7, at 3 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Hartselle Ministry Center with the Rev. Robert Sparkman officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Turney died Tuesday, March 2, 2010, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born March 14, 1974, in Morgan County to Tyrus Pasco Turney and Jean McCutcheon Turney. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Hartselle.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa Turney; his mother, Jean McCutcheon Turney of Cotaco; stepmother, Sandra Turney of Cotaco; stepbrother, Donald Gray of Orlando, Fla.; a sister Jeannine McCormick of Gardendale; and two stepsisters, Teresa Burton and Tammy Cowan.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Cross Ties Music Fund at First United Methodist Church of Hartselle.
