Funeral for Betsy Sue McIntosh, 50, of Falkville was Sat., Mar. 13, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Larry Presley, Charles Minyard and Terry Nappier officiating.
Burial was in Piney Grove Cemetery
Mrs. McIntosh died Wed., Mar. 10, 2010, at her residence, surrounded by family, friends and loved ones. She was born Feb. 3, 1960, in Morgan County and was preceded in death by her father, W.L. Speegle Jr.
She was employed by Britt Cauthen of Cauthen &Cauthen, attorneys at law. She was a talented writer of poetry, short stories and an unpublished novel. She was also an avid lover of animals, especially her beloved dog, Sam. She will be missed but not forgotten by all who knew her.
She is survived by her mother, Aline Speegle of Falkville; a brother, Roger Speegle of Nashville, Tenn; John McIntosh; a stepson, Robert McIntosh of Huntsville ; many aunts uncles and cousins; and many friends.
Pallbearers were Lynn Presley, Joe Hart, Doug Drake, Keith Drake, Greg Young and Jimmy Henderson.
