A graveside service with full military honors for Bobby Dean Lawrence Jr., 54, of Decatur was Sat., Mar.13, at 1:30 p.m. at New Friendship Cemetery with the Rev. Greg Standridge officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Lawrence died Wed., Mar.10, 2010, at his residence. He was born Oct. 9, 1955, in Hammond, Ind. to Bobby D. Lawrence Sr. and Ardath Hazel Lee Lawrence. He was preceded in death by his mother, Hazel Lawrence and a brother, Butch Lawrence.
He is survived by his wife, Melanie Lawrence; a son, Nathan Lawrence of Decatur; a daughter, Hollie Louallen of Moulton; his father, Bobby D. Lawrence Sr. of Somerville; a sister, Shelia Young of Hartselle; two grandchildren, Jacob and Caleb Lawrence; and three stepgrandchildren, Noah and Elizah Morgan and Emma Lowery.
Pallbearers were military personnel.
