Jones, Reed exchange vows

Carla Leigh Jones of Hartselle and Brian Rickey Reed of Hartselle were married Feb. 12 at 3 p.m. at Cornerstone Church in Birmingham.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. Bob W. and Rita Jones of Decatur. The groom is the son of Rick and Joan Reed of Atlanta, Ga. and Gwen and Alan Thompson of Caddo.
The ceremony was conducted by the bride’s father.
The church was decorated with pink lillies and greenery with photographs of the couple on a video screen.
The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Bryan Jones of Falkville. She wore a white sleeveless dress with sweetheart neckline and silver snowflakes and flowers at the bottom with a midback veil featuring red flowers on the comb.
She carried a bouquet of red roses, white hydrangeas and greenery.
Best man was Myles “Mousey” Reed of Hartselle.
Sound technician was the bride’s cousin, Casey Hayes, of Millry, and songs played were “Lost in this Moment” by Big and Rich and “Waiting on a Woman” by Brad Paisley, the wedding march and recessional.
A reception in the church reception hall immediately followed the ceremony.
The bride’s table featured a three-tier white cake adorned with roses and raspberries with two white doves for the topper. It also featured tropical punch in a crystal bowl and strawberries.
The groom’s table featured a one-tier double chocolate cake adorned with chocolate dipped strawberries and a glass topper with laser etching of the couple’s name and wedding date.
His table featured a variety of meats, cheeses and nuts.
Guest tables were adorned with white table clothes, red napkins and chicken cheese dip with tortilla chips, prepared by Bryan Jones.
Assisting with the reception were the bride’s brother, Bryan Jones, bride’s father, Bob Jones, and Carol Odom. Videography was done by Clay George.
After a honeymoon trip to Atlanta, the couple will reside in Hartselle.
