Sinkhole on I-65 growing

The sinkhole on I-65, two miles North of Hartselle, is getting bigger as workers for Reed Contracting C o. dig to reach rock bottom.
Meanwhile, a detour of northbound interstate traffic from Lacon to Priceville, is overrunning two-lane Highway 31 over a 16-mile stretch.
Workers at the site would not speculate as to how long it would take to refill the hole and complete the repair.
