Funeral for Cecil Lee Tanner, 94, of Eva was Mon., March 22, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Donald Tanner and Jeff Allred officiating.
Burial was in Rock Creek Cemetery.
Mr. Tanner died Sat., March 20, 2010, at Summerford Nursing Home. He was born April 30, 1915, in Morgan County to John Franklin “Bud” Tanner and Florence McKee Tanner. He was a farmer, a retired school bus driver and a member of Rock Creek Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Carmon Tanner, Cleo Blackwood and Lois Childers.
He is survived by his wife, Wilda Weaver Tanner; two sisters, Elna Tanner of Priceville and Eloise Maddox and husband Jack of Hartselle.
Pallbearers were nephews and friends.
