Funeral for Nolan Franklin Kent, 83, of Hartselle was Sun., March 21, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Partridge officiating.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Kent died Fri., March 19, 2010, at Summerford Nursing Home. He was born March 13, 1927, in Jefferson County to Russell Kent and Mamie Harpe Kent. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Lloyd Clyde Kent.
He is survived by his wife, Nellie Dorothy Armstrong Kent of Hartselle; a brother, Winford Kent and wife GayNell of Decatur; a sister, Lizzie Mae McCuary of Athens; six step-children; 19 step-grandchildren; 17 step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
