Hartselle Police planning race benefit

Hartselle Police Department will host a 5K torch run and a 1-mile fun run as a fundraiser for Special Olympics on Saturday, April 17.
A free T-shirt is offered to the first 100 people to sign up for the 5K race. The entry fee is $25.for the 5K event and $12 for the 1-mile run.
The event will be staged at Hartselle Fine Arts Center on College Street with the 5K run beginning at 8 a.m. and the fun run/walk at 9:05 a.m. All proceeds will benefit Special Olympics. For additional information, contact Lt. Linda Fox at 773-6534 or at lfox@hartselle.org.
