Funeral for Sonja Kay Franklin Clemons, 58, of Decatur was Sun., April 4, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rusty Hodges officiating.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Clemons died Fri., April 2, 2010, at Decatur General Hospital. She was born June 10, 1951, in Morgan County to Broner Franklin and Mary Catherine Harp Franklin. She was a loving mother and a member of Rural Grove Church. She was a retired beautician and loved to sing songs and always put others first. She loved everyone and never spoke ill of anyone. She will be deeply missed.
She is survived by two sons, Jerry Lee and Chuck Nix; a daughter, Christina Turner; and three sisters, Mary Mason, Dorothy Bell and Theresa Mills.
