Funeral for Betty Faye Freeman, 65, of Lacey’s Spring was Tue., April 13, at 2 p.m. at Forest Hill Baptist Church with the Revs. Charles Oden Jr. and Curtis Sanford officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Forest Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Freeman died Fri., April 9, 2010, at Crestwood Medical Center. She was born April 11, 1944, in Madison County to James Andrew Lang and Wavey Payne Lang. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger H. Freeman Sr. and her parents.
She is survived by a son, Roger H. Freeman Jr. of Somerville; four brothers, Wendall Lang and Allen Lang, both of Huntsville, Lawrence Lang of Somerville and Jerry Lang of Morgan City; four sisters, Gail Harrell, Patricia England, Barbara Meese, Debra Lang and Nell Lee; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Sam England, Jason Nelson, Tony Harrell, Josh Meese, Ed James and Rick Murray.
