Funeral for Oley Hampton, 95, of Falkville was Fri., April 9, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Mrs. Hampton died Mon., April 5, 2010, at Falkville Health Care Center. She was born May 9, 1914, in Morgan County to Robert Jasper Roberts and Lela Ann Thomason Roberts. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Cobie Hampton; two sisters, Eva White and Selma Roberts; and her parents.
She is survived by a son, Randel Hampton of Danville; a daughter, Veletia Copeland of Falkville; a brother, Orval Roberts of Moulton; a sister, Vera Gillespie of Tenn.; four grandchildren, Mike Mullican, Beth Mullican Blanco, Mark Mullican and Randy Hampton; and nine great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Ronald Roberts, Jason Freeman, Shannon Freeman, Hillard Frost, Shaun Hughey and Nicky Pressnell.
