One of Hartselle’s busiest shopping areas is undergoing a major renovation.
Hartselle’s Walmart began a remodeling project earlier this week. It’s scheduled to be complete in June and will include redesigned layout, wider aisles, lower shelves, new interior paint, enhanced lighting and easy-to-read signage.
Estimated cost for the remodel is $927,652.
Some 85 people are being hired to help with the changes.
Manager Angie Brandon said. “We listened to our customers and are redesigning the store to make shopping at Walmart even easier.”
The changes will coincide with the Walmart’s newest designs and will include interior and exterior renovation. Every department will be updated. The store will remain open during the renovations and maps are available at the front of the store.
