Funeral for Gwilda Thompson, 83, of Decatur was Tue., April 27, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Nix officiating.
Burial was in Burningtree Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Thompson died Fri., April 23, 2010, at her residence. She was born Feb. 10, 1927, in Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Thompson.
She is survived by a son, Maury Thompson; a daughter, Valerie Lemmond of Decatur; two grandchildren, Lavena Young and Rosemary Lemmond; and four great-grandchildren, Ashlen Young, Deidra Young, Kaycee Young and Derrick Lemmond.
Pallbearers were family and friends.
