John Earl Wright

A memorial service for John Earl Wright, 71, of Hartselle was Sunday, April 25, at 4 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Wright died Friday, April 23, 2010, at River City Care & Rehab. He was born April 25, 1938, in Madison County to John Edward Wright and Essie Wright. He was a member of Hartselle Kingdom Hall. He loved Alabama football and gardening and was proud of his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Diann Wright, a daughter, Teresa Hardin of Batesville, Miss.; a stepson, William Henry McDonald of Cullman; five stepdaughters, Patsy Ann McDonald of Kentucky, Carolyn Ann Brown of Decatur, Jacquiline Welch of Vir-ginia, Sara Ricks of Danville and Melissa Herring of Hartselle;  two sisters, Bonnie Hall of Hazel Green and Essie Irene Elrod of Huntsville; a grandchild, Jonathan Hard-in; 12 step-grandchildren; and 12 stepgreat-grandchildren.
