Funeral for Kaydon Strickland, 74, of Somerville was Wed., April 28, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wendell Callahan officiating.
Burial was in Cheatham Cemetery in Lawrence County.
Mr. Strickland died Sun., April 25, 2010, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born May 16, 1935, in Lawrence County to Julian Dozier Strickland and Ester Lara Mary Parker Strickland. He was a Baptist.
He is survived by his wife, Birtie Strickland; a son, David Strickland of Somerville; a daughter, Shirley Franks of Priceville; a brother, Randy Price Strickland of Trinity; a sister, Opal Lee Turner of Moulton; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Billy Cagle, Clarence Cagle, Ronnie Lawrimore, Jeff Strickland and Jerry Strickland.
