Funeral for Evelyn Bishop Sivley, 83, of Hartselle was Thur., May 6, at 2 p.m. at Gum Springs Baptist Church with the Revs. J.E. Bishop, Anthony Patterson and Lynn Dozier officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Sivley died Tuesday, May 4, 2010, at her residence. She was born Aug. 24, 1926, in Morgan County to Mabry Augusta Bishop and Luary Estelle Corsey Bishop. She was a member of Gum Springs Baptist Church for 54 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Wayne M. Sivley; and three brothers, Joe, Norman and Paul Bishop.
She is survived by two sons, John “J.C.” Sivley and Larry Sivley and wife Judy of Hartselle; a daughter, Becky Bomar and husband Howard of Hartselle; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Todd Bomar, Shad Bomar, Matt Bomar, Cole Sivley, Jay Sivley and Matt Bennich.
