Thirteen arrested for bad checks

Thirteen people were arrested and 53 warrants were executed for issuing worthless checks and failing to pay court fines in last week’s Morgan County roundup.
Four of those arrested are being held without bond. The roundup was conducted by the Morgan County District Attorney’s Worthless Check Unit.
Since January, the unit has collected $60,660 in payment for victims. The restitution unit has collected $99,359 during the same time.
