Three teens charged in elderly man’s beating

Three Hartselle teens were arrested this week on charges they broke into the home of an 80-year-old man, beat him and stole his wallet.
Owen Johnson Duncan, 18, of 810 Vaughn Bridge Road and brothers Angel Juarez, 18, and Uriel Guillerlo “Junior” Juarez, 16, both of 609 Adelle Street, are each charged with first degree robbery and first degree burglary.
Decatur police said the three men broke into the home of Ollie Beason of Old Moulton Road in southwest Decatur on May 7 at 11:50 p.m. Police said the men attacked Beason as he slept in his bed. Beason was later taken to the hospital where he was treated and released.
Duncan and Uriel Juarez are being charged as adults. All three were taken to the Morgan County Jail with bond set at $20,000 each.
