Sounding off on tax help
“I have a complaint against AARP. I went to have my taxes done on Feb 6th and Ithought everything was okay. I called the IRS to check on my refund and they said theyhad no record of my taxes being transmitted. So I go back and tell them of the situation and they do them again. I wait six weeks and I call IRS again and they have no record of my taxes being transmitted. The first time was Feb 6th and the second time was April 10th. If they are going to have these people do the taxes should they not be more accurate. All this time I am thinking that any day I will get my refund and they have not got a record of them being transmitted and now I have to go to HR Block to get this mess straightened out. So I am saying to everyone who uses AARP to get your taxes done be very careful. This is AARPTax-Aide and it was here in Hartselle.”
