A memorial service for Evaughan Lott, 94, of Hartselle was Friday, May 14, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Wayne Penn officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Mrs. Lott died Wednesday, May 12, 2010, at Hartselle Medical Center. She was born December 14, 1915, in Hartselle. She was an employee of Kuhn’s for 30 years and a Sunday School teacher at Mt. Zion for 25 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis “Bill” Lott and her parents, Earl Murphy and Iola Zulene Murphy.
She is survived by a son, Charles Lott and wife Patricia; a daughter, Jean Williamson; a granddaughter, Melissa Phillips and husband Mike; and two great-grandchildren, Danielle Overton and Chase Overton.
Pallbearers were Chase Overton, Mike Phillips, Joe Murphy, Dan Murphy, Britt Murphy and Wayne Tapscott.
