Funeral for Howard Robinson, 78, of Hartselle was Friday, May 14, at 4:30 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Harold Thompson officiating.
Burial was in McKendree Cemetery with full military honors.
Mr. Robinson died Tuesday, May 11, 2010, at his residence. He was born April 11, 1932, in Tennessee. He was retired from the United States Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.T. and Willie Robinson; a sister, Louise Pepe; and a brother, J.T. Robinson.
He is survived by his wife, Lori Robinson of Hartselle; a son, David Robinson and wife Amy of Hartselle; a daughter, Barbie Minter of Hartselle; a brother, Kenneth Robinson of New Braunsfels, Tex.; two sisters, Fay Hurley of Chesapeake, Va. and Barbara Everette of Knoxville, Tenn.; and four grandchildren, Loren Locke, Isaac Robinson, Ellen Robinson and Chase Minter.
