Funeral for Leon Rutledge, 82, of Eva was Thur., May 20, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Raymond Stinson officiating.
Burial was in Rock Creek Cemetery.
Mr. Rutledge died Sun., May 16, 2010, at Summer-ford Nursing Home. He was born March 25, 1928, in Decatur to James Fred and Pansy Allison Rutledge. He married Nancee Waite on March 7, 1953, in Lansing, Mich. They were married 55 years before her death. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Ralph, Roscoe and Bill Rutledge; and a sister, Bobbie Fay Lovell.
He is survived by three sons, David Rutledge of Phoenix, AZ., Jim Rutledge of Concord, Mich. and Ken Rutledge of Eaton Rapids, Mich.; a daughter, Linda Snider of Potterville, Mich.; a brother, Elbert Rutledge of Lansing, Mich.; two daughters-in-law, Liz Rutledge and Debra Rutledge; five grandchildren, Jason, Nannette, Marcus, Corey and Chloe; and many nieces and nephews.
