A graveside service for Martha Sivley Penley, 84, of Birmingham, formerly of Falkville, was Tue., May 25, at 11 a.m. at Falkville City Cemetery with the Rev. Harold Thompson officiating and Peck Funeral  Home directing.
Mrs. Penley died Fri., May 21, 2010, at Brookwood Medical Center in Birming-ham. She was born Nov. 13, 1925, in Falkville to Herbert and Effie Bennett Sivley. She was a homemaker, loved gardening and had a wonderful gift of laughter. She was preceded in death by her husband,Harold Mills Penley and a son, Gary Steven Penley.
She is survived by a family of loving cousins.
Pallbearers were Craig Haney, Dennis Booth, Ryan Haney, Mike Milazzo, Randy Tapscott, Lyle Kilpatrick and John McFall.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Falkville United Methodist Church.
