Meth lab found in Somerville
Three people were arrested and a one-pot meth lab were seized last week after Priceville Police Department investigated a smoking trailer.
Priceville Police received a 911 call reporting smoke emanating from the end of a house trailer on Sun Valley Private Drive in Somerville. When they responded, Priceville police noticed a strong chemical odor and saw a thick cloud of smoke inside the residence. Deputies evacuated the trailer and notified the Morgan County Sheriff’s Narcotics and Violent Crimes Task Force.
A later search of the residence revealed a two liter one-pot methamphetamine lab, including a gas-generator, Coleman camp fuel, and other house hold items associated with the manufacture of methamphetamine. Arrested at the scene were Victoria Mae Durham, 36, who lived at the home. Also arrestd were Michael Paul Gosselin, 35, of 698 Old Highway 24 lot 151 in Trinity and Eric Allen Griffin, 36, of 1421 North Jefferson Street in Athens. All were charged with unlawful manufacture of a controlled substance in the first degree. They are being held in Morgan County Jail on $50,000 bond each.
