Funeral for Teddy R. Smith, 74, of Hartselle was Friday, May 28, at 10 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Randy Ashley and Terry Nappier officiating.
Burial was in Piney Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Smith died Tuesday, May 25, 2010, at his residence. He was born October 8, 1935, in Morgan County to Pleasant Wyatt Smith and Myrtle Delores Francis Smith. He worked at 3M in Decatur for 33 years as a shift supervisor andwas a member of Lebanon Baptist Church/ He served in the U.S. Air Force in Puerto Rico. He loved to fish and loved his grandchildren.
He is survived by a son, Steven C. Smith and wife Angie of Birmingham; a daughter, Stacey Keith and husband Jim of Hartselle; a brother, Harold Smith of Falkville; a sister, Christine Newman of Falkville; and three grandchildren, Andrew and Sierra Keith and Ian Smith.
Pallbearers were Wayne Smith, Jerry Smith, Jerry Daniel Smith, Matthew Smith, Justin Brewer and Larry Smith.
