Elvin ‘Bube’ Hill

Funeral for Elvin “Bube” Hill, 77, of Cullman was Sat., June 5, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Williams officiating.
Burial was in New Friendship Cemetery in Somerville.
Mr. Hill died Thur., June 3, 2010, at his residence. He was born Sept. 27, 1932, in Lawrence County to Jeffie Francis Hill and Minnie Ethel Miller Hill. He was a Baptist and was employed with the City of Hartselle for 56 years. He was preceded in death by his wives, Lorene Callahan Hill and Martha Coffman Hill; his parents; and a son, James Elvin Hill.
He is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Collier and husband Paul of Cullman; two sisters, Pauline McCormick of Lawrence County and Wilma Whittle of Hartselle; and two grandsons, Dustin Smith and Cody Anderson.
Pallbearers were Shane Beasley, Ricky Beasley, Jason Beasley, Freeman Kirby, Tommy Kirby and John Ryan.
